MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will meet with Yang Jianqiang, First Deputy President of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., BelTA informs with reference to the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel.
“This corporation is featured in the Global 500 list. It has been operating in Belarus for 15 years, has a solid portfolio of accomplished projects: the upgrade of cement plants and a linen mill, the production of Belgee cars. A number of large investment projects are currently in progress,” the Telegram channel informs.
The meeting in the Palace of Independence will focus on current and promising projects.
The international engineering company Citic Construction Co., Ltd. was established in November 2002. It is a subsidiary of China's largest state-run financial corporation CITIC Group. Its business covers six major sectors including finance, resources and energy, manufacturing, engineering contracting, real estate and infrastructure. The company implements projects in the CIS countries, Southeast Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa. In 2007, it was one of the first Chinese engineering companies to start operations in Belarus.
