MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will meet with State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich, BelTA learned from the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel.
They will discuss the updated version of the national security concept. The revision of the concept was prompted by increasing geopolitical instability and the constitutional amendments passed following the referendum.
“The document has been updated by 70%,” the Telegram channel informed. The list of strategic national interests of the state includes historical memory, the constitutional category “people” and their comprehensive protection. The new national interests include social responsibility of citizens, personal data security, the development of nuclear energy, the Telegram channel added.
