Lukashenko to Belarusians: ‘Everyone should do their job'

MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave advice to his fellow Belarusians on what to do in the current situation as he hosted a meeting on security matters in Minsk on 10 October, BelTA has learned.

“People have already sensed that something is not okay, that there are some tensions, and so on. I would like to repeat that everyone should continue doing their job,” the president said.

“The current situation is not so bad that we need to start acting immediately. Our military will demonstrate at this point their determination to defend their country. Then none of scoundrels will dare to muscle in here,” the Belarusian leader said.
