MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is to pay a visit to Bobruisk to attend the opening of a new school on Knowledge Day, 1 September, BelTA has learned.
The head of state is expected to make a speech at the school inauguration ceremony. The Belarusian leader will then get familiar with the school infrastructure and conditions for teaching.
Apart from classrooms, laboratories, a canteen, and a library, the school features a vitamin bar, a swimming pool, a shooting gallery, and a ski base. The school boasts a variety of workshops, a choreography and rhythmic hall, an art room, a costume room, language laboratories, pre-conscription training rooms, a projection room, and many more. There is even a room for psychological relaxation for teachers.
The school also has a workout zone which consists of a stadium, volleyball and basketball courts, and areas for gymnastics, sports games, shot-put, and futsal games. The school also features a number of gyms inside.
The new school is designed for more than 1,000 students.
