MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to take part in the Dazhynki 2024 harvest festival in Korma, Gomel Oblast on 12 October, BelTA has learned.
A ceremony to honor the best agricultural workers will be the highlight of the event.
The festival features farmsteads of the districts of Gomel Oblast, concert and thematic venues, a display of farming and vintage machinery, trade and crafts stands, and many more.
The work to prepare the town for hosting the festival started in January 2024. Over the time, most of the roads and several dozen houses have been repaired, the area has been landscaped.
