MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko supported the proposal to introduce responsibility for calls for sanctions as he spoke at the meeting in Parliament on 26 May, which was attended by representatives of the public, BelTA has learned.
The head of state added that this proposal should be worked out from the legal point of view. “If you submit a proposal to me or to the parliament on the responsibility for calls for sanctions, I guarantee you that it will be adopted. This is not our know-how [there are examples of similar legislative norms abroad], but it is a very necessary one for our country,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
