MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent professional holiday greetings to workers and veterans of the civil aviation industry, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
"Belarusian civil aviation is almost a century of milestones and achievements in the field of the fastest, most comfortable and reliable transport," the message of congratulation said. “Air transportation is one of the most high-tech, innovative and knowledge-intensive sectors of the economy. The state attaches great importance to the development of this industry: there is a continuous modernization of regional airports, and Minsk National Airport is capable of accommodating all types of aircraft today."
The president noted that thanks to the stable quality and reliability of the services, the expansion of the route network and constant punctuality, Belarusian air transport enterprises have gained a high reputation all over the world, and this is the merit of all professionals of the Belarusian civil aviation.
The head of state addressed the words of special gratitude to the veterans who chartered the first air routes, laying down excellent traditions and passing them on to the younger generation.
