Lukashenko speaks with Putin over phone

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has had a telephone conversation with Russia President Vladimir Putin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The heads of state discussed the development of Belarus-Russia relations, cooperation in integration associations, including the preparation of important documents in the run-up to the 20th anniversary of the Union State Treaty. The sides pointed out the exceptionally friendly and brotherly nature of bilateral relations and the commitment to bolstering mutually beneficial partnership.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished a happy birthday to Vladimir Putin.
