MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Certain practical aspects concerning the operation of a shooting sport complex of SZAO ENERGO-OIL have been regulated by Decree No. 245 “On the operation of a shooting sport complex” which was signed by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 24 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The decree is necessary because the shooting complex is unique. It includes an indoor 300m rifle range, two open-air trap shooting ranges and a semi-indoor facility for shooting at moving targets. There are no analogues in Belarus.
In accordance with the decree, the complex will be used for practical and trap shooting training, development of the military and historical tourism, preservation of military history and patriotic education of Belarusian youth, development and promotion of safe weapon handling.
For these purposes, SZAO ENERGO-OIL will organize military history education, give corporate and individual lessons of weapon handling, shooting from military-grade, service and civilian weapons, help improve shooting skills and adjust military-grade, service and civilian weapons, repair and modernize weapons.
In order to create a corresponding legal framework, SZAO ENERGO-OIL is included in the list of legal entities with special statutory objectives which was approved by Decree No. 473 of 30 August 2002.
The decree also regulates the circulation of arms and ammunition for the needs of the shooting complex.
