MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the people of Croatia as the country celebrates Statehood Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“For centuries, both Belarusians and Croats have been persistently fighting for the independence of their land, defending their right to sovereignty, freedom and identity. They respect their past and are optimistic and confident about their future. Both countries understand very well how difficult the path to independence can be and how much effort is needed to preserve it,” the message of congratulations reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that joint constructive work and the implementation of Belarus-Croatia projects in various fields will highlight the two nations’ commitment for peaceful coexistence and hard work.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the people of Croatia prosperity, social harmony and confidence in the future.
