Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Oman 

 MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman as the country celebrates the National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"The great holiday symbolizes the unity and power of the country, and the pride in its achievements," the message of congratulations said. "Your activities to develop Oman as a center of economic and political stability in the region, strategic initiatives to modernize infrastructure are creating the conditions for the growth of the well-being of Omani citizens and the international authority of the Sultanate."

Within the framework of more than 30 years of friendship Belarus and Oman have been confidently moving forward, deepening cooperation in all areas, the head of state noted.

"I am looking forward to your personal support in the implementation of the agreements to expand trade, industrial partnership with an emphasis on joint production, transport and logistics routes and investment projects, to build up cooperation in information technology and humanitarian matters," the president stressed. "I will be very happy to meet with you to discuss the prospects for the development of our relations."

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Haitham bin Tariq Al Said excellent health and all the best for future endeavors, and peace and further progress to the people of Oman.
