Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Chad 

MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to President of the Republic of Chad Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader. 

"Liberation from colonialism and declaration of independence in 1960 started a new chapter in the history of Chad, opened the way to independent development of the country in all sectors. Minsk supports N'Djamena’s foreign policy approaches which are based on the principles of peaceful coexistence, respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states," the message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed his conviction that the establishment of fruitful bilateral cooperation meets the interests of citizens of both countries. 

"We are ready to share with our Chadian partners our experience in the manufacturing industry, agriculture, healthcare, and education. The implementation of joint pilot projects will help create a solid foundation for the establishment of cooperation ties between Belarus and Chad and will contribute to the development of the legal framework," the president emphasized. 

The head of state wished Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno good health, happiness and success, and wished peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Chad.
