Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Malta

MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Malta President George Vella as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state expressed his confidence that there were no objective obstacles to the development of fruitful bilateral cooperation on a wide range of matters. “It is obvious that Belarus and Malta have a lot to offer to each other. Possible joint projects in information technologies, digitalization, administration of financial flows, and logistics are especially promising. I believe that the determination and political will of the leaders of both countries is enough to significantly intensify our cooperation,” said the Belarusian leader.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished George Vella strong health and implementation of all plans, and also peace and prosperity to the people of Malta.
