MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Today your country is demonstrating significant progress in social and economic development and strengthening its role in the international arena,” stressed the head of state.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also noted: “Belarus views Brazil as one of the most important partners in Latin America and is interested in further deepening of bilateral ties.”
The president expressed his confidence that the fruitful Belarusian-Brazilian cooperation in the economic, political and humanitarian areas would contribute to the steady progress of the two states and the well-being of the two peoples.
