Lukashenko sends greetings to Yauheni Karaliok on gold at 2020 UCI Track Cycling World Championships

MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko extended greetings to member of the Belarusian national cycling team Yauheni Karaliok on winning a gold medal in the Scratch event at the 2020 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Berlin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

“In a spectacular competition alongside the world's best athletes, you demonstrated the qualities of a real champion and rightfully topped the podium. This victory testifies to the fact that you are one of the best athletes on the planet in this discipline,” the message of greetings says.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Yauheni Karaliok strong health, good luck and new achievements.
