Lukashenko sends greetings to workers of Belarusian machine-building industry

MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to workers and veterans of the Belarusian machine-building industry as they celebrate their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, thanks to the efforts of several generations of machine-builders Belarus is known as country producing powerful dump trucks, reliable freight vehicles, modern agricultural, municipal and other specialized equipment. Belarusian enterprises produce a major part of goods shaping the GDP of the state, and that affects the wellbeing of people, the Belarusian leader said.

“In recent years the state draws much attention to the technical retooling of enterprises, application of energy and resource saving technologies, diversification of markets. As a result, the machine-building industry is more confident about the future and can compete with leading European and global manufacturers,” the president stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that workers of the machine-building industry will successfully cope with their tasks as the main resource of the country are its people, highly qualified specialists with significant intellectual potential, hardworking and dedicated people. “I wish you and your families strong health, wellbeing and every success,” the president added.
