MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the 5th edition of Belarus' Media Community Forum and the 21st edition of the National Print Media Contest Zolotaya Litera (Golden Letter), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The president remarked that the event brought together the elite of domestic journalism - people whose hard work and talent help shape an objective image of modern Belarus.
“In the era of post-truth, your forum is a unique platform to exchange best practices and to discuss trends and strategies in the development of the national information space. It offers an opportunity to recognize and celebrate those who know how to use the power of the printed word,” the message reads.
The extensive program of the forum and the Golden Letter Award will certainly help journalists and media workers to expand their professional horizons and introduce advanced practices into their work, Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
The president wished all participants good networking experiences, fruitful discussions and successful cooperation for the benefit of the Motherland.
