Lukashenko sends First President's Day greetings to Nursultan Nazarbayev

MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Nursultan Nazarbayev as the country celebrates Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your creative activities in the post of the head of state are inseparably linked to the period of formation of the sovereign Kazakhstan. The responsible and thoughtful decisions you have made have preserved the unity of the nation, its historical and cultural values, helped successfully transform the political system and promote rapid social and economic development. Today the country is flourishing largely thanks to you, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The Belarusian head of state emphasized that in Belarus Nursultan Nazarbayev is known and appreciated as an outstanding politician of the world scale, who stood at the origins of Belarus-Kazakhstan relations based on brotherly friendship, mutual support and strategic partnership.

The president wished Nursultan Nazarbayev strong health, new achievements in the service to the Fatherland, and a long life surrounded by the loving family and loyal comrades.
