MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' on his birthday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Your life is an example of selfless service to the ideals of goodness and mercy. Your tireless work in the interests of the Orthodox Church and society gives people the sense of confidence and peace. Our spiritual foundations are enriched by your pastoral words calling to preserve Christian values and cultural heritage. Your contribution to inter-ethnic dialogue and Belarus-Russia friendship is especially valuable,” the message of congratulations reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Patriarch Kirill mental and physical health, peace and God's help in all his affairs.
