MINAK, 24 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent birthday greetings to Emir Kusturica, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
"Your multifaceted acting and directing talent has found its embodiment in dozens of cinematic works. Your art has written bright chapters in the cultural chronicle of our time, received well-deserved international recognition," the message says.
The head of state noted that Emir Kusturica is known in Belarus as an outstanding artist and a good friend of our country. "I am sure that in the future your activities will invariably contribute to the development of cooperation between the peoples of Belarus and Serbia," the president stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Emir Kusturica many happy returners of the day, good health, cheerfulness and optimism.
