MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to Raul Castro Ruz who turned 90, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
“For millions of people around the world you are a shining example of ardent patriotism and the fight for your Motherland's freedom. In these difficult times, you are a true pillar of the nation, a wise leader that has brought up a new generation of Cuban revolutionists who are worthy successors of their fathers and grandfathers,” the greetings read.
Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked Raul Castro Ruz for his invaluable personal contribution to the development of the Belarusian-Cuban relations in all areas of mutual interest and wished him heath and success in the service to his country and nation.
