MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the personnel and veterans of the 3620th Artillery Ammunition Depot on the 80th anniversary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state remarked that the history of the military unit began in May 1945. Since that time the personnel have carefully preserved, developed and passed on to the youth the glorious traditions of the generation of victors.
“Every day, military and civilian staff of the depot performs a lot of tasks to repair and upgrade missile and artillery weapons, military and special-purpose equipment. The weapons museum and the book dedicated to the centennial anniversary of the service of missile and artillery weapons, are striking examples of your efforts to promote patriotism among young men and women and to encourage them to choose a career in the military. I am convinced that by constantly improving their skills, the personnel will continue to effectively address the most difficult and demanding tasks in order to strengthen the country's defense capability,” the message of congratulations reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the military personnel and their families good health, happiness, prosperity, a peaceful sky above their heads and new successes in their service to Belarus.
