MINSK, 1 January (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan Abdel Fattah al-Burhan Abdelrahman al-Burhan and all the Sudanese people as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Your country is going through a difficult phase, which requires maximum consolidation of society in order to establish peace and political stability and bring the economy back on track,” the congratulatory message reads.
The head of state pointed out that Minsk is ready to support Khartoum in implementing food security projects, organizing medical care, supplying agricultural and utility equipment, personnel training.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdel Fattah al-Burhan Abdelrahman al-Burhan good health and fulfillment of his plans, and wished the friendly Sudanese people harmony, progress and a peaceful future.
