Lukashenko, Putin to meet in Sochi on 7 December

MOSCOW, 3 December (BelTA - TASS) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian leader Vladimir Putin will meet in Sochi on 7 December, Telegram-channel Pul 1 informs with reference to spokesperson for the Belarus president Natalya Eismont.

“It is probably no longer a secret: the presidents of Belarus and Russia are scheduled to meet at the end of the week. The meeting will be preceded by a regular round of negotiations between the prime ministers who will then report on the results of their work to the heads of state. Then the main meeting, which is so much talked about today, will follow” Natalya Eismont noted.

Spokesman for the Russian presidential Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the leaders of the two countries will meet on 7 December “to discuss the issues of bilateral relations: road maps on the development of allied relations, the Union State, major investment projects, gas issues,” the Kremlin representative said.
