SOLIGORSK DISTRICT, 3 October (BelTA) – While visiting Soligorsk Poultry Farm, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko was briefed on plans to establish a quail breeding and genetics center, BelTA has learned.
The head of state inquired when Belarus would develop its own domestic quail, given that the country’s poultry industry currently relies on importing day-old chicks from both grandparent and parent stock.

“We will have our own quail in three and a half years,” said Inna Tolkacheva, Director of Soligorsk Poultry Farm.
