MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) - The presidential election in Belarus was organized at a high level and was held without disruptions, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with a delegation of the Pan-African Parliament on 28 January, BelTA has learned.
The delegation of the Pan-African Parliament observed the presidential election in Belarus. "I think you have noticed that this political campaign did not disrupt the calm rhythm of the country's life. The election was organized at a high level and held without disruptions, as some people in the West expected," Aleksandr Lukashenko said. "I hope you were able to see our potential and make sure that we are open to dialogue with you."
The president asked the foreign guests about their impressions of the visit to Belarus and what ideas they had for cooperation in certain areas.
