Lukashenko pleased with changes in public’s attitude to education system

MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – A majority of Belarusians positively evaluate the operation of secondary schools. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement during the Nationwide Conference on Teaching on 27 August, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “I am glad to see changes in the attitude of the general public towards the education system. Sociological surveys conducted by the National Academy of Sciences indicate that over 73% of those polled positively evaluate the work of schools. And the Belarus President Administration sees a significant decrease in complaints of citizens about education matters. The number of complaints has decreased by 43% from 2023 to a total of 278. And essentially the complaints report no problems of social significance.”
