Lukashenko: People saw what they can lose

MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – There is positive dynamics regarding the discipline and organization of spring field work. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement as he authorized the appointment of new heads of district administrations and deputy heads of oblast administrations on 13 May, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “I emphasize once again: discipline and discipline! I see that, to put it crudely, nuts have been tightened since last autumn and despite bad weather (fortunately, some good rains are happening but they slow down the sowing campaign) people are working like never before. Why? Organization. People saw what they can lose. There is a war over there, some things are happening at the western borders and the rest. And people understood that it is better to work a bit harder, produce results than face serious problems.”

In his words, it indicates organization and it is necessary to keep up the good work. “If there is organization and discipline, we will tackle all the issues. Even more so the agrarian complex. Foodstuffs are necessary, we cannot live without them, prices for food rise all the time. Exploit this opportunity,” he said.
