Lukashenko: People keep coming to Belarus despite West's attempts to draw Iron Curtain

VITEBSK, 15 July (BelTA) – No matter how hard the West tries to draw the Iron Curtain on us, people continue coming to Belarus, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the opening ceremony of the 31st edition of the International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk on 14 July, BelTA has learned.

"Let them rest assured: our Slavic soul will endure everything and face our lot bravely and the ideas of goodness, peace and justice will triumph again. No matter how hard the West tries to draw the Iron Curtain on us, guests from Europe and other continents continue coming,” the head of state said.

He noted that tickets for the concerts of the Vitebsk festival are selling, hotels are booked. "Today, as always, we have true friends next to us who share our position and views on life. Sincerely and truly! Believe me, we in Belarus appreciate this very much!" the Belarusian leader said.
