MINSK, 30 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has decided to pardon German citizen Rico Krieger, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
A reminder, Rico Krieger was found guilty under six articles of the Criminal Code and was sentenced to death.
As it has been reported, Krieger filed a clemency petition with the Belarusian president.
The head of state made a decision to grant him clemency, taking into account all the circumstances.
