MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – Former members of the anti-Hitler coalition are now waging a war against us in politics, economy, and mass media. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement at a solemn assembly held on 6 May to mark the 80th anniversary of the Soviet nation’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “European countries, which are members of the anti-Hitler coalition, our former allies, those, who looked forward to the arrival of the Red Army and their liberation from fascism with hope and flowers, are waging a war against us in politics, economy, and mass media.”
“Poland’s actions stun me the most. Our army lost over half a million fighters to liberate the country. They had only several months and days to live to see the Victory. Half a million!” the president remarked.
