Lukashenko, other foreign leaders lay flowers at Tomb of Unknown Soldier  in Moscow

MOSCOW, 9 May (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko together with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other foreign leaders laid a wreath and flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin in Moscow, BelTA learned.

During the ceremony, the heads of delegations observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of the victims.

Before that, Aleksandr Lukashenko watched the Victory Parade on Red Square together with his colleagues from other states.

The Belarusian president arrived in Moscow on 8 May, on the eve of Victory Day. In the evening of the same day, the Belarusian leader attended a concert in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Kremlin.

The Russian capital is hosting more than 20 heads of state. Among them are leaders of the CIS countries, and also China, Brazil, Slovakia, Serbia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Myanmar, Equatorial Guinea and other countries.
