Lukashenko opines on what skills children need the most

MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) – During the Q&A session titled “Open Microphone with the President” at Minsk State Linguistic University on 22 November, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko shared his opinion on what skills children need the most, BelTA has learned.
“First, they should do sports to stay healthy. Remember this. Second, they should know a foreign language. There is no way you can succeed in today's world if you do not know English,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.

Another important skill is creativity. “If your child has a talent for something, this talent should be developed. First of all, I mean music. The fourth thing is schooling,” the president said.

“We need to raise a child as a responsible human being. If a child does not learn responsibility, it means the parents did a poor job. Everything depends on the parents and their willingness to support their child,” the head of state emphasized.
