Lukashenko opines on how to protect children from online threats

BORISOV DISTRICT, 19 January (BelTA) – Speaking with the BelGee staff, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko answered the question about how to shield children from the negative impact of the internet, BelTA has learned.

The head of state emphasized that, first of all, it is necessary to keep children busy, so that they have less time for “surfing in the Internet.” It is important that parents set an example. They should teach children how to work and not spoil them. The president is convinced that children should not be shielded from difficulties, because this harms their resilience. Children should understand how things work.

“We should not shield them from difficulties and overprotect them. Let them live through their struggles,” Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.
