MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko continues his regional working trip with a focus on the agricultural industry. The head of state is visiting the Yubileiny agricultural company in Orsha District, Vitebsk Oblast, BelTA has learned.
The head of state will be briefed on the progress in agricultural work, procurement of fodder, and preparation of machinery for the harvest season in Belarus, Vitebsk Oblast and Orsha District.
The president is set to visit the Kupalinka dairy complex, get familiar with its operation and the process of procuring fodder in the agro-industrial complex.
The enterprise specializes in pigs and cattle breeding, production and sale of pork, beef and milk, and also crop production.
The enterprise has 11,700 hectares of farmland. Gross output made up 109.9% in 2021, including 115.7% in livestock, 99.3% in crop production. In January-May 2022 the gross output stood at 114.6%.
The Kupalinka dairy complex was put into operation in July 2020. In January-May 2022 the complex produced 8,400 tonnes of milk with milk yield per cow reaching almost 4,200 kg.
