Lukashenko on his most important goal today

MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) - We need to make sure the economy works and there is no war, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko told reporters in Minsk on 26 August, BelTA has learned.

"The war will end soon, and someone will be held responsible, not only morally. They need to shift the responsibility to someone. So they are trying very hard to put the blame on Lukashenko and Putin. It won't work. More will come out. This is just the beginning. We seem to have been through a lot since 2020, have endured a great deal. This is just the beginning. The hardest things lie ahead. We need to seize the moment, gain a foothold and do everything to make sure the economy works and there is no war. That's what's very important now. This is my task, my goal. I see that we are slowly achieving it," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
