MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – National interests should underpin any reforms, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he summed up the results of the 6th Belarusian People's Congress in Minsk on 12 February, BelTA has learned.
“Speaking about possible transformations, we must proceed from our own national interests. We, of course, should keep an eye on what is going on around us,” said the president.
“May God help us keep sovereignty and independence without fighting and bloodshed,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
