CHISINAU, 19 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Moldovan political and state figure, former Moldova President Nicolae Timofti in Chisinau on 19 April, BelTA has learned.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The sides discussed the current state of Belarus-Moldova relations and the development of the foreign and domestic political situation in the two countries.
“Our nations are very close. Moldovan and Belarusian people have always understood each other,” Nicolae Timofti remarked.
