MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – Kiev will eventually resume contacts with Moscow and Minsk, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on 23 December, BelTA has learned.
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, Europe will open up to Belarus and Russia sooner or later. “Europe cannot exist without Russia, it cannot exist without us,” the president said.
“I think that Kiev will eventually join in on. There is no other way, we are all human after all. Anything can happen in life. But I think we will mend relations with them eventually,” added Aleksandr Lukashenko.
