KAZAN, 24 October (BelTA) – Belarus invites Vietnam to launch joint projects to manufacture machinery, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the margins of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia on 24 October, BelTA has learned.
“During my visit to Vietnam during the tenure of the previous leadership, I very strongly suggested setting up joint ventures in Vietnam to produce Belarusian machinery and sell it on the APEC market,” the head of state said.
“We can start with assembly production. Why not cooperate on this? It is a win-win project and it will also benefit the countries that will buy this machinery. And Vietnam also badly needs such machines, especially agricultural trucks,” the Belarusian leader added.
