Lukashenko hosts meeting to discuss education, public organizations in Belarus

MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko hosted a meeting to discuss issues related to education and the operation of public organizations in the country, BelTA has learned.

Attending the meeting were Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko and Rector of Polotsk State University, Senator Oleg Romanov.

“Oleg Aleksandrovich [Romanov], I would like to discuss a few details with you. These are of course education matters. From your point of view, what haven't we done here yet? I also would like to discuss matters related to young people, public organizations and their role in society. How can we strengthen the role of public organizations, given recent events, especially in 2020. I want your fresh view on these issues,” the Belarusian president said.
