Lukashenko honors Belarus' outstanding media workers

MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a decree and executive order to award mass media workers with medals and commendation letters, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The Medal of Francysk Skaryna has been awarded to Anatoly Zankovich, the director of the directorate for information broadcasting “Second National TV Channel”, Ilya Krevchik, the head of the department of producers of the main directorate “Television News Agency” of the National State Television and Radio Company, and Konstantin Prybaylo, a special correspondent for the editorial office of broadcast to the CIS and Baltic countries at the TV News (RT), for their great personal contribution to the development of state information policy and national journalism.

Commendation letters of the President of the Republic of Belarus have been bestowed upon eight mass media workers for their services in the implementation of the state information policy, high professionalism, objective and comprehensive coverage of events in the social, political and cultural life of the country.

The president's commendation letters have been awarded to Andrei Alekseenko, the editor-in-chief of the television studio of the National Branch (representative office) of the Interstate Television and Radio Company MIR in the Republic of Belarus; Yevgeny Gorin, an observer of the political department of political observers of the main directorate "Television News Agency" of the National State TV and Radio Company; Anna Pyzh, an observer of the political department of observers of the political information broadcasting directorate of the Second National TV Channel; Alena Syrova, the head of the department of political observers of the information broadcasting directorate of the Stolichnoye Television STV.

The president's commendation letters have been also awarded to Vadim Trusov, the head of the department of TV cameramen of the television studio of the National Branch (representative office) of the Interstate Television and Radio Company MIR in the Republic of Belarus; Maksim Uglianitsa, the Deputy General Producer - Chief Director of the Main Directorate of the First National Channel of the General Production Center of the Belarusian Radio of the National State TV and Radio Company; Ksenia Khudoley, an observer of the political department of political observers of the information broadcasting directorate of Stolichnoye Television STV; Svetlana Tikhonova, the director of the internet broadcasting directorate of the Second National TV Channel.
