
MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and heads of foreign delegations examined an outdoor exhibition of Belarusian vehicles, machines, and equipment outside the Minsk International Exhibition Center BelExpo, BelTA has learned.
Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich told participants of the event about the latest products of the Belarusian mechanical engineering industry. Agricultural machines, passenger vehicles, municipal vehicles, fire-fighting equipment, military vehicles, trucks, and special-purpose vehicles in addition to cars were on display. The entire broad range of models is made in Belarus.
After getting familiar with the products on display, the heads of the delegations took a commemorative photo with the haul truck BelAZ-75710 in the background. It is the world’s largest haul truck, with the designed carrying capacity of 450 tonnes and the actual carrying capacity of 500 tonnes. The truck has been inscribed into the Guinness Book of World Records thanks to these parameters.

“A special foundation has been arranged here for placing such vehicles. These vehicles are ahead of their time,” Viktor Karankevich told reporters.
The exhibition was organized as part of the Eurasian Economic Forum held in the Minsk International Exhibition Center. The Belarusian head of state, the presidents of Kazakhstan, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, the prime minister of Myanmar, and a special representative of Nicaragua’s co-presidents had taken part in the Eurasian Economic Forum’s plenary session “The strategy of Eurasian economic integration: Results and prospects”.
