MOSCOW, 8 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has come to the Kremlin where a concert will take place for heads of the delegations that have been invited to attend festivities on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, BelTA has learned.
The event will take place in the Kremlin’s Hall of the Order of St. Andrew.
BelTA reported earlier that on 9 May the president will take part in festivities in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Minsk and in Moscow.
The Belarusian head of state and his foreign counterparts will attend a Victory Parade in Red Square in Moscow. A Belarusian parade unit will also march across Red Square as part of the parade.
In the evening outside the Minsk Hero City Obelisk in the Belarusian capital city Aleksandr Lukashenko will review an army parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Soviet nation’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
