MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko commented on the role of the Hi Tech Park (HTP) and the future of the IT industry in the country as he talked to students at Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in Minsk on 27 September, BelTA learned.
The president was asked to comment on the statement that IT specialists supposedly do not contribute to the country's economy, despite the favorable conditions and high wages provided for them. The head of state was also asked about the future of the HTP.
"Nowadays, economic development is impossible without IT specialists" Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
