MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – It is necessary to develop the system of political parties in the country. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement during the national seminar-conference held on 10 June to discuss new methods and forms of public communication at the grassroots level, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Register your political parties and work.”
“We are an independent country and should act in our own interests,” he said.
The president remarked that the work of public associations and political parties should proceed to the benefit of the state.
