MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt as the country celebrates Revolution Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The Belarusian head of state hailed a high level of partnership between the countries in the political, trade and humanitarian sectors and stressed that Abdel Fattah el-Sisi's recent visit to Minsk became a significant event in the history of the Belarusian-Egyptian relations and helped outline a number of new venues of cooperation in science, culture, tourism and security.
“I appreciate your personal efforts to develop bilateral cooperation and hope for the continuation of fruitful contacts,” the message of greetings says.
