MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi in connection with the death of former President Mamnoon Hussain, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“It was with great sorrow that Belarus learned the news about the death of former President Mamnoon Hussain, a politician who made a significant contribution to the development of Pakistan and to the promotion of friendly relations between our countries," the message reads.
On behalf of the Belarusian people, Aleksandr Lukashenko conveyed condolences and words of support to the family and friends of Mamnoon Hussain.
