MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) - Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent condolences to Indonesia President Joko Widodo in connection with the loss of life and destruction as a result of the tropical cyclone in the East Nusa Tenggara, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
It is with deep sorrow that Belarus has learned the news about the tragedy, the head of state said. “On behalf of the Belarusian people and myself, let me express my sincere sympathy and words of support to you, families and loved ones of the victims and the people of Indonesia,” the message of condolences reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished speedy recovery to the victims and restoration of the regions affected by the disaster.
