MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) - The European Union's future lies only in cooperation with Belarus and Russia, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko told the media in Minsk on 26 August, BelTA has learned.
The president recalled that Poland had recently suggested dissolving the European Union. “This is the United States' dream. The conflict between Europe and the United States began when the euro, an alternative currency, emerged. Therefore, this is just the beginning,” said the head of state.
“Europe's future lies only in cooperation with us, with Russia. All the resources are here. Buy them, use them. We will live and work together, and the United States will go off the radar. This is what they fear. Therefore, Europe's future lies with us if they want to live, not to turn into radioactive ash,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
